1. Prohibited information that endangers the security and public interests of the People's Republic of China

1.1 Information on controlled instruments and items, including but not limited to: guns, ammunition, munitions, and weapons, as well as related equipment, parts, accessories, and imitations; butchery knives, bows and arrows, darts, electric stun guns, and water bullet guns;

1.2 Information on security, police and military products, including but not limited to: clothing, accessories and related imitations for the staff of governmental authorities (law enforcement, juridical or administrative agencies) and police dogs; site enforcement recorders, police sirens, police lights, patrol cars, and handcuffs;

1.3 Information on flammables and explosives, including but not limited to: gunpowder, fireworks, firecrackers, and their ignition devices; hazardous chemicals, highly toxic chemicals, and tutorials and books that introduce the methods of making flammables and explosives;

1.4 Information on drugs, drug raw materials, drug-related products, drug-making tools and drug-making methods, techniques, and processes, including but not limited to: methamphetamine, marijuana; drug-making pots, drug-taking tools; guidelines or videos about the drug-making process.

2. Information that damages the national dignity, undermines the sovereignty, and advocates national division of the People’s Republic of China

2.1 Improper display of logos and emblems of governmental authorities, including but not limited to: national flags, national emblems, and police emblems;

2.2 Display of politics-related books, journals, audiovisual products, videos, and documents that are prohibited from being published, distributed and sold, or that are not appropriate for publication, distribution and sale domestically;

2.3 Product and service information that contains the content that is reactionary, undermines national unity, undermines sovereignty and territorial integrity, threatens social stability, involves state secrets, disrupts social order, promotes cult and superstition, and advocates racial discrimination;

2.4 Improper display of images or information of state leaders.

3. Information that disturbs public order, goes against social morals, promotes feudal superstition, and spreads religions

3.1 Information on fortune-telling and treatment of diseases by practicing Qigong;

3.2 Superstitious activities such as hitting villains, exorcising ghosts or evil spirits, and worshiping Gumantong;

3.3 Display of protective talismans, divination items, and sacrifices, and promotion of religious doctrines and activities without obtaining the required qualifications;

3.4 Display of religious goods without obtaining the required qualifications, including but not limited to: prayer beads, shrines, incense, monk robe, related souvenirs, and sarira.

4. Information involving pornography, vulgarity, and violence

4.1 Pornographic and obscene content, including but not limited to: pornographic videos and pictures; software, cloud disks, and seed files spreading pornographic information; pornographic pictures and videos of minors; pornographic chat; adult website membership services; aphrodisiac products and SM items;

4.2 Information on the trade in such products as used underwear.

5. Information on gambling, gambling tools, or the items that are easily turned into gambling tools

5.1 Poker cards, mahjong machines, slot machines, etc.;

5.2 Rough jade stones that are used for gambling or easily turned into gambling tools, such as raw jadeite.

6. Information on cheating tools or services and other fraud-related information

6.1 Exam cheating tools, including but not limited to: cheating add-ons or devices, and surveillance equipment signal blockers;

6.2 Unpublished answers or surrogate exam-taker services for national or provincial examinations, including but not limited to: CET 4, CET 6, and Civil Servants Exam;

6.3 Surrogate services for academic research and schoolwork, including but not limited to: theses, graduation projects, and research project reports;

6.4 Services for making false ID documents or certificates, including but not limited to: ID cards, passports, and social security cards;

6.5 Forgery or alteration of documents, certificates, official seals, and anti-counterfeiting labels issued by governmental authorities or special agencies;

6.6 Information on the illegal trade in tickets or documents that are still valid or can be used for reimbursement, such as train tickets and VAT invoices;

6.7 Information on wireless network adapters or devices for stealing Wi-Fi;

6.8 Devices or services for stealing electricity;

6.9 Anti-GFW software, or VPN proxy services not licensed by competent authorities.

6.10 Information on multi-level distribution, including but not limited to the information on agent recruitment.

7. Information that infringes on personal privacy and legal rights of others

7.1 Devices used for monitoring, recording, or stealing private information, including but not limited to: mobile phone monitoring cards, bugs, IR-filtering glasses, and invisible cameras;

7.2 Software and tools used for stealing or cracking accounts and passwords;

7.3 Services providing mobile phone locating information, phone call list, bank accounts, hotel check-in records, and confidential business data;

7.4 Products that install fee-deduction programs secretly or contain malicious programs such as account hacking and password theft tools;

7.5 Mobile phone hacking services that infringe on the rights and interests of individuals or companies;

7.6 Lock picking tools, and locksmiths services without the required qualifications.

8. Information on pharmaceuticals, medical devices, other medicines, and medical services

8.1 Domestic and foreign prescription drugs and OTC drugs;

8.2 Fake and inferior drugs;

8.3 Class 1, 2, and 3 medical devices, and the medical devices manufactured or imported without the approval of the drug regulatory authorities, or sold without being inspected, including but not limited to: medical masks, medical alcohol, and syringes;

8.4 Contraceptive products such as condoms and IUDs;

8.5 Aphrodisiac, vaginal tightening, slimming, breast enhancement, and heightening drugs;

8.6 Medical diagnosis and consulting services without the required qualifications, including but not limited to: Chinese/Western medical consulting and treatment services, online issuance of appointment quota to outpatients, and aesthetic medicine services (including whitening injections, lipolysis injections, filling injections, slimming injections and other cosmetic injection products), oral care and treatments, genetic testing services, and psychological counseling services;

8.7 False propaganda of the above-mentioned medical diagnosis and consulting services;

8.8 Acupuncture;

8.9 Paternity testing, fetal testing, and genetic testing.

8.10 Pseudoscience-related information that goes against scientific principles, including but not limited to the services that claim to change the sex of fetuses, change the fate, and exorcises ghosts, as well as unfounded folk prescriptions;

8.11 Information that violates the medical operation technical specifications and medical ethics, including but not limited to: gene edited babies and euthanasia.

9. Information on veterinary drugs and pesticides

9.1 Prescription and OTC veterinary drugs that are approved by the veterinary drug regulatory authorities, that are under public investigation of regulatory authorities and that are prohibited from being produced and sold;

9.2 Pesticides that are prohibited or restricted from being used as required by the Ministry of Agriculture.

10. Information on special medicinal materials, formula foods for special medical purposes, and health foods.

10.1 Infant formula foods, such as infant milk powder;

10.2 Special full nutrition formula foods for the patients suffering from diabetes, respiratory diseases, kidney diseases, tumors, liver diseases, sarcopenia, trauma, infection, inflammatory bowel diseases, protein allergy, refractory epilepsy, gastrointestinal malabsorption disorder, pancreatitis, and abnormal fatty acid metabolism, as well as the patients who have just undergone a surgery (including obesity surgery) or in other stress states.

10.3 Health foods that are produced for certain people for regulating their immunity, instead of curing diseases, and are claimed to improve people's health or supplement vitamins, minerals and other nutrients without causing any acute, subacute, or chronic health hazard.

11. Information on wildlife and national-level protected animals, and other information that endangers public welfare or may cause serious damage to the ecosystem

11.1 Information on the illegal trade in living bodies, viscera, fur products, bones and organs of national-level protected wildlife and endangered wildlife, including but not limited to: ivory (including mammoth ivory), crest of a crane/helmeted hornbill, giant clam, coral, rhino horn, and tortoise shell;

11.2 Information on the trade in cat and dog meat and fur products, bear bile and bear bile products;

11.3 Trading services for animal hunting tools.

12. Information on human organs, human genetic resources, and related services

12.1 Information on the illegal trade in human organs and remains;

12.2 Information on the illegal trade in sperms, eggs, fertilized eggs, embryos, etc.

13. Information on illegal use of financial currencies, products and services by bypassing the financial regulatory policies or platform regulations of the People’s Republic of China

13.1 Counterfeit and altered banknotes and related printing equipment;

13.2 Provision of services prohibited by laws and regulations such as money laundering, illegal provision of credit cards, and illegal absorption of public deposits;

13.3 Provision of a large number of foreign currencies in circulation, foreign currency exchange services, and foreign exchange trading services;

13.4 Information on the trade in the old edition of RMB banknotes in circulation or imitated RMB banknotes;

13.5 Surrogate services for credit card repayments, and services for personal loans and usurious loans;

13.6 Stock recommendation services or software;

13.7 Virtual currencies and related services, including but not limited to: Bitcoin, Litecoin, and QQ Coin;

13.8 Surrogate payments by third-party payment platforms and surrogate swiping of credit and debit cards;

13.9 Trading services for airline points/mileage and for air tickets obtained by redeeming airline points/mileage;

13.10 Provision of virtual membership cards or member benefits, such as membership cards for various video websites, music apps, and game apps.

14. Information on the services without a license or the required qualifications

14.1 Legal consulting services;

14.2 Financial consulting services;

14.3 Group tours, outbound tourism, visa applications, and other related services.

15. Information on tobacco and related products

15.1 Information on the trade in cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, smoking cessation products, cigarette packets, snuff, cigarette labels, cigarette holders, tobacco monopoly products, and tobacco production equipment.

16. Information on games that violate the laws and regulations or bypass the regulatory restrictions of the People’s Republic of China

16.1 Information on the trade in game top-up cards and coins of online games that have not been approved by authorities or have been discontinued by the official game providers;

16.2 Information on the trade in game add-ons, private server products, private server programs, etc.;

16.3 Information on trade in game accounts.

16.4 Information on the game power leveling service.

17. Information violating the real-name authentication requirements of the People’s Republic of China

17.1 Information on the trade in online accounts, including but not limited to: QQ accounts, Weixin accounts, Baidu accounts, Weibo accounts, video website accounts, or related payment accounts;

17.2 Information on the trade in mobile phone numbers and landline telephone numbers that have completed real-name authentication;

17.3 Services that allow the actual occupants to check in at hotels without going through the real-name registration;

17.4 Products and services that can be logged in and used without real-name registrations.

18. Information on illegal publications, stamps, collections, and surrogate purchasing services.

18.1 Information on the trade in stamps and other philatelic products;

18.2 Information on the trade in the publications, books and audio/video products that are expressly prohibited from being published and sold by the national authorities;

18.3 Information on the trade in cultural relics;

18.4 Information on the trade in ancient coins, silver dollars and commemorative coins;

18.5 Information on the trade in ancient coins, silver coins and commemorative coins; 18.5 Goods and services that are purchased by surrogates but not declared to the customs.

19. Information on infringing products, knockoff products, counterfeit products, unbranded and dateless products from nameless factories, and products that evade customs inspection

19.1 Trademarks and patents infringing on the rights of others;

19.2 Knockoff goods, including but not limited to: knockoff clothes, shoes, bags, and watches;

19.3 Counterfeit and shoddy products, including but not limited to: counterfeit jewelry and jade products, such as Mount Tai stones, copal resin, egg shell jade, colored polished pink jade, burnt red jade, and water-foam jade; precious metal products that do not meet national standards; products containing cinnabar ingredients, etc.;

19.4 Unbranded and dateless products from nameless factories, including but not limited to: the products inconsistent with the information on the packages or with components or content that do not meet the national standards;

19.5 Products bypassing customs inspection or those without the declaration and payment of customs duties.

20. Information on the prohibited activities that bypass the laws and regulations regarding transportation and aviation equipment management

20.1 Information on the trade in airplanes, helicopters, hot air balloons and other equipment without the required licenses or qualifications;

20.2 Trading services for vehicles that have been scrapped or meet the national scrapping standards, or for vehicles assembled with parts and components of scrapped vehicles;

20.3 Trading services related to evasion of traffic administration, including but not limited to: provision of license plate masking equipment, and surrogate services for deduction of penalty points from traffic violators' driving licenses and applications for driving license;

20.4 Trading services for vehicle safety equipment, including but not limited to: seat belts and airbags.

21. Information on various surrogate services

21.1 Surrogate services for household registration and residence permits;

21.2 Surrogate services for paying, depositing and withdrawing housing provident funds and opening social security insurance accounts;

21.3 Surrogate services for paying salaries;

21.4 Surrogate services for registering medical appointments.

22. Information on illegal pyramid selling

22.1 Illegal pyramid marketing of health foods, cosmetics, and foods;

22.2 Illegal assembly;

22.3 Products sold in a manner similar to pyramid scheme.

23. Miscellaneous

23.1 The List may contain Tencent's policies, standards, agreements and rules that will be released by Tencent from time to time. The aforesaid agreements and rules shall be deemed an inseparable part of the List upon their official release and are equally binding on you.

23.2 Tencent has the right to unilaterally make amendments or revisions to the List and other provisions set out in the foregoing sections. Upon any such amendments or revisions, your continued use of the Channels Live Feature shall be deemed as your acceptance of the amended or revised content. Your failure to accept such content will block you from further using the Feature, which will not affect your use of other services of Weixin Channels.

In case of any inconsistency and discrepancy between the Simplified Chinese version and English version of this list, the Simplified Chinese version shall prevail.
